I'll dominate 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
